Multifunctional metal–phenolic nanoparticles with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects for osteomyelitis management

Zn 2+ –phenolic nanoparticles are prepared by the self-assembly of Zn 2+ , EPL, and QU. This innovative strategy for the simultaneous delivery of transition metals ions and polyphenols may open up a new way to effectively treat osteomyelitis in vivo .
