Quantum dots (QDs) with narrow emission spectra are superior to other fluorescent materials used in display applications to meet the BT.2020 color gamut standard. Here, cadmium‐free QDs with red and green emission are integrated into photoresist for color filter (CF) application. Moreover, scattering particles are also applied to further improve the absorption and light extraction. Such QD‐based photoresist composites could be patterned through traditional photolithography process to produce pixels of the required size and optical density. Under the same film thickness of about 5 μm, the patterned QD‐color filters (QDCFs) with 25 wt% of red QDs show absorption efficiency of 80% at 450 nm and external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 29%, while the patterned QDCFs with 25 wt% of green QDs show absorption efficiency of 65% at 450 nm and EQE of 25%.
