Influences of Composite Inoculant on the Structure and Properties of Malleable Iron

The as cast structure of malleable iron were refined when the composite inoculant Re-B-S+Al+Bi was used.Besides,the graphitizing process also improved to insure the graphite in fine and evenly distributed and in quasi-spherical tempered shape.It was evident that the mechanics properties were improved markedly.The proper addition of Re-B-S is 0.25%.
