Characteristics of Nanofiltration Membrane and Its Control Action on Micro-pollutant in Water

The nanofiltration membrane(NF) developed in the 1980 s fills in the gap between reverse osmosis(RO) and Ultra-filtration(UF).Nanofiltration(NF) is a kind of new membrane wastewater treatment technology which is between UF membrane and RO membrane.In this paper,characteristics of nanofiltration membrane,especially its separation performance were introduced.Necessity and rationality of organic pollutants control by nanofiltration membranes were also discussed.Finally,possibility of nanofiltration application in water treatment in the future was proposed.
