Synthesis,Crystal Structure and Fluorescence Properties of Taurine Condensation Salicylaldehyde Schiff Base and Reduced Schiff Base

Taurine condensation salicylaldehyde Schiff base(1) was synthesized by the condensation recaction of salicylaldehyde and taurine in the methanol solution.Reduced Schiff base(2) was obtained by the reduction of 1 by sodium borohydride.The structures were characterized by 1H NMR,IR and elemental analysis.The single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis indicated that 2 belongs to monoclinic,space group P21/c with a=10.787 4(12) ,b=8.989 7(10) ,c=11.098 3(13) ,β=103.180(2)°,V=1 047.9(2) 3,Z=4,Dc=1.466 g·cm-3,μ=0.303 mm-1,F(000)=488,R1=0.032 0,wR2=0.080 9.The fluorescence properties of 1 and 2 were investigated by fluorescence.The results indicated the λmax(FL) lies in 500 nm and 430 nm for 1 and 2,respectively.Also,the full emission of 1 lies 480 nm~560 nm.1 is a green luminous monomer.
