This paper describes color filter for TFT-LCD, and generalizes the structure, property and the manufacturing methods in details, at present pigment-dispersed method is the most common one.The color filter field is a technology-intensive industry, only by mastering the correlative technologies, breaking the oversea monopoly in the field of photoresists and pigments for LCD CF and owning the independent intellectual assets, it can develop TFT-LCD industry in China and to lead the developing of the whole LCD industry.
