Solid‐Phase Synthesis: Small Organic Molecules

Chapter 3 illustrates the solid-phase synthesis (SPS) of small organic molecules (SOM) using both traditional and advanced synthetic methodologies. First, the logics of SOM SPS are described, highlighting similarities with and differences from classical organic synthesis in solution. The same principles are presented through review of five recent papers, providing the reader with a wide selection of good, SOM chemistry on SP.
