THE GRAIN SIZE DEPENDENCE OF THE LOADING AND REVERSION BEHAVIOUR OF A Cu-Zn-Al MARMEM ALLOY DEFORMED BELOW Mf

Methods of producing a range of grain sizes between 0.1mm and 1mm in a ternary Cu-Zn-Al alloy are described and results are given of a preliminary investigation of the grain size dependence of the stress-strain response, shape memory and reverse shape memory effects.
