As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to reshape the legal landscape, it is essential to address the accompanying ethical and regulatory considerations. This chapter investigates these critical dimensions, focusing on the ethical concerns of bias, transparency, accountability, and privacy within AI adoption in legal systems. It provides an in-depth analysis of the current regulatory landscape, including existing laws, guidelines, and international standards, and examines the challenges and opportunities in crafting effective regulatory frameworks. The chapter emphasizes the necessity of balancing innovation with ethical and social responsibility to ensure public trust and confidence in AI applications.
