Tailoring molecular orientation to enhance photocurrent and fill factor in green-solvent processed organic solar cells

This study provides a framework showing that in thin films, “green” solvents affect molecular orientation, crystallization, and thus device properties. This effect increases with thickness, while additives can restore the preferred orientation.
