EFFECT OF Sr$sup 90$ IRRADIATION ON PTERYGIUM

Irradiation with Sr/sup 90/ was given three to four days after the resection of pterygium in four cases of primary and two cases of recurrent pterygium. For irradiation a Sr/sup 90/ applicator was used to give 200 rep at a time and a total of 1400 rep. A month later no recurrence of pterygium was observed nor side-effects caused by irradiation. (BBB)
