Advances of metabolomics and its applications in the studies of allergic rhinitis

By analyzing the endogenous small molecule metabolites of organisms, metabolomics can find specific biomarkers and analyze their metabolic pathways, providing a research basis for solving clinical problems. Metabolomics has been widely used in disease diagnosis, pharmaceutical research and development and other health-related fields. Allergic rhinitis, as on a global scale in recent years the increasing prevalence of a disease of respiratory disease, has attracted more and more attention from various research fields, and the application of metabolomics to its research is a relatively new exploration. This article reviews the development of metabolomics technology in recent years and its application in allergic rhinitis.
