摘要
A mathematical model of temperature distribution in the process of friction stir welding (FSW) of dissimilar butt joints has been developed. The model makes it possible to take into account the geometric dimensions of the tool, the thermophysical properties and the temperature distribution in the sample during the transition of the welded material into the superplastic state. Temperature measurements were carried out at various points of the sample from the side of aluminum and copper during the FSW. This model is used to estimate the linear velocity of the FSW associated with the thermophysical properties of materials. The calculation results are in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data.
