摘要
Dermatologic adverse events, including xerosis and pruritus, are frequent in patients receiving systemic anticancer agents. There are few studies evaluating tolerance and efficacy of topical regimens to alleviate these untoward events. A 5-week (±1 week) clinical study was performed to determine the safety and efficacy of an Avena sativa (oat) skin care regimen (body wash, cream, and 0.5% pramoxine balm) in improving skin dryness and itch of adult patients undergoing systemic oncology treatments.
