Existence of Nonlinear Rotating Modes in Intrinsic Josephson Effects in High-T c Superconductors

Examining solutions to equations for the gauge-invariant phase difference of macroscopic superconducting wavefunctions and comparing them with experimental data for the I – V characteristics of the intrinsic Josephson effect in high- T c superconductors, we show the concrete evidence for the existence of nonlinear rotating modes which are a kind of intrinsic nonlinear localized modes in pure nonlinear lattices.
