Background The role of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching is a significant topic of discussion. One identified benefit from these resources is to provide novel ideas for instructional methods. Game-based learning has also been a developing topic in education with research suggesting it may improve knowledge retention. This case describes the use of an AI-suggested game for teaching human gait to physical therapy students.
