The hybrid engineering of crystalline NiSex nanorod arrays with amorphous Ni–P film towards promoted overall water electrocatalysis

A superhydrophilic hetero-nanostructured material composed of amorphous Ni–P film and crystalline NiSe x nanorod arrays on Ni foam (denoted as Ni–P/NiSe x /NF) was synthesized through a facile hydrothermal reaction combined with an electrodeposition process, and it possessed outstanding electrocatalytic performance toward OWS and outstanding durability.
