摘要
AbstractIn this paper, water separation from water-in-oil emulsion was investigated in a new equipment designed by ourselves. The electric-field distribution in the drum has been deduced. The performance of oil demulsification was evaluated in terms of water separation efficiency by changing the frequency and voltage. The optimal water separation efficiency is achieved at 2 KHz and 4.5 kV. When operation parameters are below 2 KHz and 4.5 kV, the efficiency of water separation tends to increase as the frequency and voltage increase. However, when the operation parameters are above 2 KHz and 4.5 kV, the efficiency of water separation tends to decrease as the frequency and voltage increase.Keywords: Electric fieldnew equipmentwater-in-oil emulsionwater separation
