Microscopic temperature imaging holds significant importance in various fields, particularly in the development of nanomaterials for photothermal therapy (PTT). In this study, we present an analytical method to probe cellular temperature based on chemical kinetics and additional luminescence quenching by photoswitchable naphthopyrans.
