Design of Independently Rotating Wheel Tread Shape

According to the Special requirements of independently rotating wheelsets, a wheel tread profile of independently rotating wheelsets for the low floor vehicle is designed by using a newly developed design method and programme of contact angle curve reverse repulsion. Moreover, the effect of the variations of the contact angle curve on the profile of the tread is analyzed, and the feasibility to use the method in the optimized design of the tread profile is discussed.
