Isolation and identification of phenolic acids from Galium verum L

To investigate the chemical constituents of the extraction from Galium verum L seven compounds are isolated by chromatography and identified by spectral data.The compounds obtained are identified as trans-sinapic acid(1),syringic acid(2),caffeic acid n-butyl ester(3),protocatechuic acid(4),4-hydroxybenzoic acid(5),caffeic acid(6),and chlorogenic acid(7).Compounds {1～5} are isolated from this genus for the first time.
