Study on Chemical Constituents of the Volatile Oil from Artemisia argyi of Guangxi by GC/MS

Objective: To study the main components of volatile oil from Artemisia argyi Lev1.et Vant.of Guangxi.Methods: The volatile oil were extracted by steam distillation.The main components of volatile oil were analyzed by GC-MS.The relative content of each component was determined by area normalization.Results: Sixtyseven components,96.5% of total content had been identified.Conclusions: The study can be provided a scientific basis for further development and utilization of volatile oil of Artemsia argyi from Guangxi.
