Radiant floor heating systems with capillary tubes are an energy saving system in which hot water is circulated into capillary tube which has small diameter. In this study, the heating performance of capillary tube system is investigated in an experimental study. The results show that the capillary tube radiant floor heating system maintains floor surface temperature more stable than a PB pipe system. In terms of energy consumption, the capillary tube radiant floor heating system is more efficient than the PB pipe heating system at 40℃ of low temperature hot water supply. The difference between water temperature and room temperature can be held low for heating which allows to save energy. Low temperature radiant floor heating system with capillary tubes have significant advantages in terms of the better function for health, low energy cost, optimum use of heat source(boiler) and higher operational efficiency.
