摘要
All solid-state sodium-ion batteries are among the energy storage devices that can replace lithium-ion batteries because of their abundant reserves, low cost, and safety. In all solid-state sodium-ion batteries, solid-state electrolytes (SSEs) have a decisive influence on performance. In this chapter, ion migration mechanisms in sodium-ion solid polymer electrolytes and inorganic sodium-ion SSEs are introduced. Meanwhile, the development of several of the most studied sodium-ion SSEs and inorganic SSEs—oxide, sulfide, and complex hydride electrolytes—are reviewed. We hope that this chapter can provide a comprehensive information for the development and application of sodium-ion SSEs.
