Effects of CaCO_3 and Talc on Properties of PVC/ABS Alloy

The effect of CaCO3 and Talc as inorganic fillers on mechanical property,Vicat softening temperature and processing property of PVC/ABS composite were studied in this paper.The micro-morphology of impact fracture surface and the dispersion of the inorganic filler were examined by SEM.The results showed that:Composite stabilizer of CaCO3 and Talc can improve the impact property and tensile property of PVC/ABS composite.Talc greatly increased the Vicat softening temperature of PVC/ABS composite.Composite stabilizer of CaCO3 and Talc was disadvantage to improve the Vicat softening temperature and processing property of PVC/ABS composite.
