The experimental study and theoretical analysis about instantaneous reverse purge and continuous reserve purge in oxygen generation from air by pressure swing adsorption are carried out,the effects of these two kinds of purge step on oxygen concentration in product are summarized.The continuous purge step is helpful to reduce adsorptive pressure and oxygen concentration will increase with longer purge time.While instantaneous reverse purge step can improve oxygen concentration in an accurate time limit,and has a little effect on adsorptive pressure.The combination of these two kinds of purge step is better than any one of them.
