Intersection Safety Evaluation Model

The objective and subjective factors affecting intersection safety is analyzed and the amount of weighted conflict points in a certain potential conflict area is selected as the intersection safety index. The intersection safety evaluation method is established with other affecting factors correction, such as geometric design, safety facilities. The rationality of the method is validated to show that it can analyze the intersection safety conveniently which needn't the traffic accident statistical data and traffic conflict survey.
