Logistic regression analysis on risk factors of mechanical ventilation complicated with stress ulcer

Objective:To explore the related risk factors of mechanically ventilated patients complicated with stress ulcer.Method:We reviewed 250 mechanically ventilated patients in EICU of our department and performed the univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis on related risk factors of mechanically ventilated patients complicated with stress ulcer.Result:Univariate analysis showed that risk factors for mechanically ventilated patients complicated with stress ulcer included age,disturbance of consciousness,APACHE Ⅱ score,duration of mechanical ventilation,albumin,ventilator-associated pneumonia(P0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that consciousness,APACHEⅡ score,duration of mechanical ventilation were independent risk factors of mechanically ventilated patients complicated with stress ulcer(P0.05).Conclusion:For patients with disturbance of consciousness,high APACHEⅡ score and prolonged mechanical ventilation that may be required,we should pay attention to them and give early preventive treatment of stress ulcer and try to shorten the duration of mechanical ventilation.
