Protection Effect of Puerarin to Rats' Diabetic Retinopathy

Objective To observe the conservation of puerarin in the retina of diabetic rats. Methods Establishing the diabetic retinopathy rat model,randomly dividing the rats into normal group,diabetic group and diabetic with puerarin injection group,and observing the HE staining and electron microscopy at different times. Results HE staining and electron microscopy of diabetic rats indicated that there was diabetic retinopathy in the early stage,and in the diabetic model with puerarin injection group changed slightly. Conclusion Puerarin can protect the retina of diabetic rats,and delay the diabetic retinopathy process.
