Amino-terminated polyurethane(ATPU) was grafted onto polypropylene molecular chain by reactive extrusion. The graft copolymer could be characterized by IR. The effects of the molecular weight of ATPU,contents, the rotate speed of screws and other processing conditions on grafting ratio were studied respectively in this paper. The optimal reactive extrusion conditions which could get the highest grafting ratio were ascertained. The polypropylene grafted ATPU was blended with the pure normal polypropylene in the twin-screw extruder to produce the functional polypropylene(FPP).
