Aroma component proportion and their differences among enriched,clear,and intermediate in flue-cured tobacco were studied with 84 leaf samples(C3F) from main tobacco planting regions in 2009.Results showed that significant or extremely significant differences existed in some aroma components proportion among aroma styles.In general,clear aroma tobacco had significantly higher proportion of Maillard reaction products,and significant or extremely significant lower proportion of Neophytadiene than enriched and intermediate aroma style tobacco.Intermediate aroma tobacco contained extremely significant lower proportion of Phenylalanine products and Cemdrenoid products than enriched and clear aroma tobacco.
