Luminescence and CPL Spectra of d 10 Metal Complexes

Metal species with d 10 electronic configuration are of considerable interest as strong emitters. They have peculiar structural and photophysical properties due to the electronic configurations. There has been growing interest on the circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) of these species in recent years. In this review, recent advances in this field are described. Among the d 10 metal complexes, copper(I) complexes are mainly described, but some examples of silver(I), gold(I), and palladium(0) species are included.
