Hollow sphere structured V2O3@C as an anode material for high capacity potassium-ion batteries

Carbon-coated V₂O₃ hollow spheres are synthesized by a solvothermal route, with promising cycling stability and rate performance for PIBs. The homogeneous carbon coating improves the electronic conductivity and the hollow structure buffers the volume change during cycling.
