摘要
Recently, the emergence of non-fullerene acceptors has brought organic solar cells (OSCs) into a new era. The power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of OSCs have broken through 18% due to the improved short-circuit current ( J sc ). However, the large voltage losses inhibit the OSCs from reaching high open-circuit voltage ( V oc ). The trade-off between maintaining enough driving force for charge separation and decreasing the voltage loss makes it challenging to obtain high J sc and high V oc simultaneously. Fortunately, some material combinations have realized good balance and attained promising PCEs. Herein, we summarize the recent progress in the photovoltaic materials that possess high PCEs with V oc > 1 V and discuss the existing challenges and perspectives for the high-voltage OSCs. It aims to promote the in-depth study of the voltage loss and the fabrication of the high-voltage OSCs and expand their application in the indoor light recycling area.
