摘要
A Hybrid electrode of Li1.2V3O8 (LVO) and CFx for the improvement of performance at high rates and at low temperatures was studied. Li1.2V3O8 is a well known rechargeable positive electrode material and demonstrates high rate capabilities. The rate capabilities and low temperature performance of CFx chemistry was studied by mixing it with a high rate cathode material, Li1.2V3O8. Moreover, the higher potential of Li1.2+zV3O8 (0≤ z ≤ 2.8) can serve to eliminate the initial voltage drops observed in Li/CFx cells.
