Circulating IgE levels as a biomarker for therapeutic response to dupilumab among patients with prurigo nodularis

This retrospective study investigates the role of baseline immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels in predicting therapeutic response to dupilumab in prurigo nodularis (PN) patients. Our findings show that patients with elevated IgE experienced significantly greater relief from pruritus, suggesting that IgE could serve as a biomarker for identifying individuals who are more likely to benefit from IL-4 and IL-13-targeted therapies. These results support the development of personalized treatment strategies based on inflammatory profiles in PN.
