摘要
Synthesis of benign nanocatalysts and supports has been a major part of catalysis in the last decade. Solvent-free synthesis is a crucial paradigm in the production of a wide range of useful and significant chemical compounds. This chapter covered a variety of solvent-free synthesis techniques, including mechanochemistry, thermal treatment, plasma-assisted synthesis, and deposition. The solvent-free nanocatalysts and supports synthesis techniques are environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and meet the green chemistry principles. The best approach toward making materials is to use a solvent-free synthetic technique. This chapter will aid researchers in their understanding of solvent-free synthesis processes.
