Clinical Neurology.

Considering the availability of several excellent textbooks of neurology, the publication of another might appear at first to be a questionable venture. This volume, however, is not merely another standard textbook dealing with descriptions of various clinical entities to be found in the field of neurology; intended for the student, both undergraduate and graduate, it deals at length with the diagnostic significance of symptoms and signs and properly emphasizes the importance of the clinical examination in neurology. Although the scientific aspects of neurology and laboratory methods, in general, are presented fully, their role as supplemental aids to the clinical examination is stressed. The first eight chapters, or approximately 30% of the volume, are devoted to this introductory aspect of neurology.
