Levonorgestrel-protected Au8 and Au10 clusters with different antimicrobial abilities

The antibacterial activities of Au 8 NCs and Au 10 NCs with the same atomic composition but different structures are studied, finding that the structure of gold nanoclusters has a great influence on their antimicrobial activity.
