摘要
Objective: To explore the prevention effect of Chinese Medicine acupoint sticking therapy on gastrointestinal adverse reactions caused by azithromycin. Methods: The 360 cases of hospitalized patients only with azithromycin treatment for infected were selected as the research object. The patients were randomly divided into control and treatment group, with completely randomized grouping method. The 180 cases in control group were treated with azithromycin powder injection, and the those 180 patients in treatment group were treated by azithromycin powder injection plus Chinese Medicine acupoint sticking therapy. The number of cases of nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and abdominal distention was observed and recorded in two groups, and at the same time C-reactive protein quantity in serum was record at the first days, third days and sixth days. Results: The treatment group less cases on no reaction, mild, moderate, and severe reaction than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05). The total adverse reaction rate was 35.6% in control group, and 8.9% in treatment group; The difference was statistically significant(P0.05). The difference on C-reactive protein at the first day between the two groups showed no statistical significance(P0.05); The difference on C-reactive protein at the third days and sixth days between the two groups was statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion: Chinese medicine acupoint sticking therapy can effectively prevent the gastrointestinal adverse reactions caused by azithromycin and reduce the amount of C-reactive protein in the serum, thus reducing the body's stress level.
