Knowledgeable Blue-collar Workers and Technological Talents

Traditionally speaking,blue-collar workers mainly refer to technical personnel who perform physical labor in the second industry and extended service sector,while white-collar workers engage in management,decision-making,and research and development of products.The latter usually have a better pay for their brain labor.With the rapid development science and technology as well as the knowledge economy,the traditional distinction between white-and-blue-collar workers is becoming increasingly blurred,as the concept of knowledgeable blue-collar workers is adopted.This paper discusses the differences and associations between technological talents and knowledgeable blue-collar workers under Chinese conditions.
