The Relationship Between C-reactive Protein and Coronary Heart Disease

Objective:To evaluate the relationship between C-reactive (CRP)and coronary heart disease(CHD).Method:Reviewing the literature of the relationship of CRP and CHD,then recapitulatingit.Result:CRP is an independent risk factor in the initiation of CHD,and plays an important role in the progress and prognosis of CHD.Conclusion:The determination of CRP may predict the risk of initiation of CHD;evaluate the severity of CHD and assess the prognosis of CHD.
