Application of the solution of the contact wear problem to modeling wear during fretting corrosion

Fretting corrosion wear was modeled using the deformation model of Winkler and the assigned elementary law of wear. The obtained theoretical results were compared with the available experimental data. It is demonstrated that the proposed model is adequate for the actual process of fretting corrosion.
