Resource and exploration assessment of the oil and gas potential in the Devonian gas shales of the Appalachian Basin

This report represents a detailed summary of the data from a complete suite of organic geochemical analyses performed on more than 2000 individual core samples as well as several hundred cuttings samples from Devonian Shale wells drilled in the Appalachian Basin. The data were verified, plotted, mapped, and correlated with known production in the basin, and conclusions were drawn. 214 figures, 7 tables.
