The analysis of yield and quality of legume protein showes that grain bean is a promising legume crops for Western Siberia due to its higher stability and protein yield in comparison to soybean and pea. Furthermore, the quality of bean protein exceeds the quality of protein from pea, the most common cultivated legume. Amino acid composition of bean protein suggests possibilities for further improvement of breeding efficiency of this culture. This could be an important approach to solve the problem of food and feed protein in Western Siberia.
