摘要
This article provides an overview of the artificial intelligence (AI) trends in social work education and practice. Although the social work profession at first glance may appear antithetical with the values and ethics in implementing AI, social work faculty, students, administrators, and practitioners benefit from understanding and navigating generative AI. There are implications for social work education and social work practice as faculty address the use of AI in the classroom, students ponder the use of AI in their everyday lives and how AI may impact clients and communities, and practitioners focus on new technologies and tools to assist them in working with clients.
