Study on Properties of Epoxidized Natural Rubber Composites

The epoxidized natural rubber(ENR)/silica and natural rubber(NR)/ENR/silica composites were prepared by a new method and their properties were investigated.The results showed that,the thermal stability of ENR/silica composites was better than ENR;by adding silica and silane coupling agent KH-550 in NR/ENR blend,the loss factor(tanδ) at 0 ℃ increased,while tanδ at 65 ℃ decreased,indicating improved wet skid resistance of composites and lower rolling resistance.
