Practical Application of Environment-friendly Tailings Pond for a Copper Hydrometallurgy Plant in Congo(DRC)

Constructing environment-friendly tailings pond was first put forward by the Zambia Chambishi hydrometallurgy Co.,LTD.,and such kind of tailings ponds are gradually practiced by many Chinese hydrometallurgy plants in likasi city,Congo(DRC).This kind of tailings pond is an important part of production elements in mine or hydrometallurgy plant,it can contains the tailings and waste water in the process of production.This paper introduces basic situation of environment-friendly tailings pond in a Congo(DRC)copper hydrometallurgy plant in detail,analyzes the comprehensive utilization of tailings in production,expounds the daily management measures of tailings pond.
