New Type of Hypophosphites

Abstract Optimal conditions were found for the synthesis of hypophosphoric acid esters with the cyclic systems of cyclohexanol and 1,2;5,6-O-diisopropylidene-α-D-glycofuranose as an example. It was shown that these hypophosphoric acid esters have high reactivity and are candidates for processes resulting in the formation of P─C bonds. The structure of the products was reliably supported by spectral methods.
