Catalyst-free and oxidant-free cyclocondensation of 2-aminobenzamides with glycosides under visible light

A mild and eco-friendly approach for the synthesis of quinazolinones was developed. This method enables the cyclocondensation of 2-aminobenzamides with glycosides under visible light without catalysts and oxidants.
